Dear Garden Friends,

Now is the time to bring out your body armor, shine it up and prepare to do some serious shopping at the big Plant Sale this weekend. For those of you who have never attended one of our annual sales, let me just say that they are exciting, and the competition to buy is keen. I've been sneaking several peeks at the plant offerings we will have for you this year, and I have to tell you, it is going to be fantastic stuff! You can bet that the choicest plants at the best prices will be yours if you get there early and persevere. Let me assure you -- this works.

Don't forget that the best technique is to become a member of the Botanical Garden Society since you get in Friday night at the Members Only sale. And don't forget the Silent Auction that night. Some truly awesome plants will be under the silent auction tent, along with wine and other refreshments.

Maybe the best part is to be in such a large concentration of friends, colleagues, and plant enthusiasts. I hope to see you there.

Happy shopping!
