The "Ducks" Tackle the John Muir Trail

The John Muir Trail got some much needed attention from the University of Oregon alumni, Saturday April 6. The group of 20 "Ducks" got an enormous amount of work done, clearing out invasive cape ivy and other weeds from this beautiful, wild section of the Garden. The trail is meant to mimic wild California and is a popular place for school groups en route to the Children's Garden. The group was led by our own SFBGS Docent Teri Cavanaugh who recruited for the project.
