Magnolias, Camellias & Rhododendrons: Pencil Drawing with botanical artist Nina Antze

See why colored pencil techniques are ideal for capturing the fragile glories and unique colors of these winter blooms. Practice mixing and layering color and explore techniques including burnishing, layering, and impressed line. Live blooms from the Garden will be provided or feel free to bring in your own beauties. Weather permitting, class will lunch outside and experience nature first hand. A supply list will be provided. Bring your own lunch.

It Takes Two to Tango: Valentine's Day Happy Hour at the Garden

Book a special happy hour for that special someone in your life! 'It Takes Two to Tango' is a unique Valentine's Day happy hour at the Garden that will delight the senses! Learn how plants reproduce and keep the species going on a docent guided tour through the Garden. Move to the music as special guests offer up a group tango lesson before they take the stage for a performance not to be missed. Excite your taste buds with special tasting treats, beer, and wine (two drink tickets included with ticket price). To join the Plant LOVE Tour, there is an additional $5 fee, as space is limited.
