in the Children's Garden
October is the last month for this year of our fabulous family days in the Children's Garden - good thing there are five Saturdays to enjoy! Fall is harvest time, so we'll see how the squash plants families helped plant earlier this summer are doing, make corn husk people from our corn crop, and collect seeds to save for next year.
For families with children ages 3-10.
Free with entry, follow map and signs from each gate.
Sundays, October 9 - December 25; 1:30-3:30PM
Visitors of all ages can ask questions about cloud forest plants in more depth at the Garden Interpretation Station situated in the Mesoamerican Cloud Forest on Sundays.
Free with entry. See signage at either entrance for specific information or ask Visitor Services staff at either kiosk for specific Interpretation Station locations.
