Guided School Walks
You and your students can enjoy an exciting and educational garden exploration by participating in our Guided School Walk Program. These popular free walks, led by our engaging docents, are offered for elementary school students throughout the school year and dates are assigned through two lotteries – one in mid-September and one in mid-December. Registering for a Walk
Each teacher is eligible for one walk per year. Teachers who register for the fall but who do not get a walk date are eligible to reapply for the spring. All teachers, regardless of number of visits in earlier years, have an equal chance of obtaining a walk date.
The registration period is November 1 through December 1 for Spring 2011 walks. All registrations received by the last day of the registration period will be entered into a lottery, and teachers will be notified of the results by early January. We will be accepting registration by mail or fax only.
