Free Native Plant Docent Tours

Every Saturday, April 6–August 31 at 2pm from the North Gate.

Native Garden Tours April 13 & 20

Curator Dr. Don Mahoney will lead a tour through the Arthur L. Menzies California Native Garden and speak about the history of this truly magical garden.
10am–12pm; $10 Members/$15 General

Wildflower Craft Cocktails and Twilight Tour April 18

Soak up spring in the Garden of California Native Plants, with signature cocktails crafted with gathered ingredients, and a twilight guided tour of this spectacular garden and its riot of color.
7–9pm; $30 Members/$35 General; 21+ only

Natives by Moonlight April 25

Gaze upon a kaleidoscope of colors under the silvery moonlight on a tour of the Garden of California Native Plants in the peak of the wildflower bloom.
7–8:30pm; $10 Members/$15 General

Summer Solstice Twilight Walk & Wine in the RedwoodsJune 21

Celebrate the longest day of the year, sipping California wines, nibbling local cheeses and enjoying a guided tour through the grove as the sun goes down.
6:30–8:30pm; $20 Members/$25 General; 21+ only

Interpretation Stations

Docent-staffed Interpretation Stations offer visitors the opportunity to learn more about current featured exhibits at the Botanical Garden. Open Saturdays and Sundays from 11:30am–3:30pm. Ask Visitor Services at either kiosk for Interpretation Station locations.
