Zora Hurston and the Chinaberry Tree
Based on a vignette from the childhood of renowned author Zora Neale Hurston, this inspirational story tells how Zora learned to realize her dreams from her mother and from her observations from the top of a chinaberry tree (Melia azedarach). Cornelius Van Wright and Ying-Hwa Hu’s wistful and engaging watercolor illustrations bring the story to life.
