Magical Magnolia Family Adventure

NEW! this year, a FREE Magical Magnolia Family Adventure Map that takes families on a stroller-friendly path or a more adventurous route off the beaten path to search for furry buds and giant flowers on magnolia trees large and small. Pick one up at the ticket kiosks to help you along your way!

Children's Story Time in the Library

Sundays, January 5 & 19; February 2 & 16; March 2 & 16; 10:30–11:30am
Enjoy a different themed special story each month – including Blooms & Branches, Tons of Trees, Garden Creatures and more – then take a guided walk connecting that morning's story to living plants.
FREE (admission required for Garden walks following story readings; FREE for San Francisco residents with proof of residency). For families with kids ages 4-8.

Interpretation Stations

Every Sunday, January 12–March 16, 1:30–3:30pm
Visit docent-staffed stations on Sundays to learn more about these special plants.
